Hello, my name is Joshua Cantu. I was born in Dallas in 1991 and raised in a small town, I discovered my passion for music at 17 when I picked up the guitar. Fascinated by complex rhythms and inspired by bands like Animals as Leaders, Tool, and Tesseract, I immersed myself in progressive and experimental music. Twelve years ago, I joined a band that I’m still part of today, constantly pushing creative boundaries. My lifelong dream has been to compose music, and attending Full Sail University has brought me one step closer to that goal. I'm excited about the future and where my musical journey will take me.
